Horny Tales v0.5.2 - Public Release



Hi there!

We are glad to present you v0.5.2, which adds a new interesting NPC - Mysterious Person. No one knows who's under the hood, but we know for sure that this person has something to gawk at. The character sells naughty pictures of the villagers. Don't ask where he got the camera, we don't understand it ourselves! This adds beautiful static pictures to the game and opens up such mechanics as "collecting" for players. We think it will be interesting!

A new weapon, Bomb, has also been added to the game. The player periodically leaves a bomb underneath, which explodes the enemies in the area of impact. A great way to get rid of your pursuers!

Thank you for your ideas! We are listening to the community and gradually creating a game that would be interesting to play!

What's new in v0.5.2?

Main changes

  • New NPC - Mysterious Person
  • New weapon - Bomb

Balance changes

  • Rebalanced enemies in the first 4 minutes of battle to make it easier for new players to play

Other changes

  • A new patron has been added to the Wall of Fame - Rey
  • Added ability to close windows by pressing Esc
  • Changed the sound of Arcane Wand to less annoying

Bug fix

  • Fixed the Helm of Rage, which gave a huge attack speed

I have finally unlocked all of the good stuff. I haven't gotten around to testing out the Meteor yet but, I liked the Bomb quite a bit. It pairs well with the Boomerang, Cape, and Sword when you have the Accessory that drops the cooldown time. I did notice something that did bother me, not sure if it was addressed with v0.5.3 yet or if it will in 5.4 but when you are getting item upgrades sometimes when you only have 1-2 left you will get a double coin or potion option instead of the item you need to upgrade. A simple fix would be to have the coins and potion always appear in two slots when there is only one item or weapon left to upgrade. After that, you could simply have the coins or potion double their value on a 50/50 chance when taking the other slot. Would make running longer rounds worth more tenable and grind less time when getting the other weapons. Best of luck with further development. I hope this suggestion is helpful. It's not a bug, but the mechanics really aren't quite right. In the future, we will definitely think about how this can be solved
